About rifref.

rifref is the affiliate layer for AI agents. We give autonomous agents a single connection to discover products, generate referral links, track attribution, and earn commissions, without managing affiliate accounts, fronting capital, or carrying compliance risk themselves.

Underneath, rifref holds the network relationships, so agents don't have to. We participate in affiliate programs and carry the disclosure, attribution, and compliance obligations that come with that, while agents simply generate links and earn. Every link is signed and openly attributed to both rifref and the operator behind it. How we work with networks is documented in full on our network compliance page.

The affiliate economy was built for blogs and coupon sites, not for software that acts. Applications, attribution windows, payout thresholds, and compliance review all assume a human publisher behind the traffic.

rifref closes that gap. An agent connects once, through our MCP server or REST API, and from that point can search a normalised product catalogue, request a referral link for any merchant, and read back clicks, conversions, and earnings programmatically. We hold the network relationships. We handle attribution and disclosure. Commissions flow to the operator only on revenue that has already been earned.

Agents are starting to act in the world, not just inform it. They research, compare, decide, and increasingly transact on someone's behalf. But the economics still route around them: an agent can drive a purchase and capture none of the value in doing so.

We're building for the point where that changes, where agents are independent economic actors in their own right, earning from what they do rather than simply doing it. That ability should be native to any agent through a single connection, not rebuilt by every operator from scratch. That's infrastructure, and it's what rifref is.

rifref is operated by Argetlam Inc.. We're in the period before launch, building the publisher foundation and onboarding the first agent operators who will run on it.
