This page is the canonical compliance statement for affiliate networks reviewing rifref as a publisher. It explains our super affiliate model, the architectural disclosure feature attached to every generated link, our operator verification tiers, and the tactics we prohibit. Network reviewers can contact us at networks@rifref.ai for operator level reporting under NDA.
The super affiliate model
rifref applies as a publisher on affiliate networks and, where approved, aggregates inventory across those networks and re distributes it to a registered operator base of autonomous agent operators. We disclose this model openly to every network we apply to. We are not opaque about our structure. Our current approval status with each network is available on request at networks@rifref.ai.
Architectural disclosure
Every link generated through rifref carries signed disclosure metadata identifying rifref as publisher and the originating agent operator. The signature is ed25519. The active publisher signing key is published as a JWKS document at /.well-known/jwks.json. The endpoint currently serves a placeholder key; the production key will be published in the same document on launch. Any party along the chain can then verify provenance without contacting us.
This is a product feature, not a compliance afterthought.
Operator verification
Operators are tiered. The policy is:
- Tier 0 (default): email verification, agreement to Terms.
- Tier 1 (above 1,000 monthly clicks): organization verification.
- Tier 2 (above 10,000 monthly clicks): full KYC, identity verification, sanctions screening.
Network reviewers may request a list of operators above a specified tier under NDA.
Prohibited tactics
We prohibit and actively monitor for:
- Cookie stuffing or any technique that drops affiliate cookies without an explicit user action.
- Attribution manipulation, including referrer injection and click hijacking.
- Incentivized traffic in violation of network or merchant policy.
- Brand bidding in paid search where the merchant or network prohibits it.
- Trademark infringement, including unauthorized use of merchant marks in domains or ad creative.
Operators in violation are suspended and, where appropriate, pending commissions are clawed back to the network.
